Program Partners
Our partnerships are very important to the Legacy Sports Management Society by providing hands on real life opportunities to provide our students the experiences in the sports industry.
Types of partnerships:
Facility Rentals - By renting our facility at Legacy these partners give our students a change to manage booking calendars, review contracts and supervise events.
Volunteer Opportunities - From basketball tournaments, Triathlons, vendor booths and more. All of the experience look a little different and help the students engage in different types of sporting events and different jobs.
Coaching - Titan Sports Academy will host youth leagues and camps at Legacy which will give the students hands on coaching and league operation experiences. Students will also gain grassroots level certifications for coaching indifferent sports; USA Basketball, US Soccer, NFL Flag.
Class Projects - Students in upper level Sports Management classes will have the opportunity to do project based assignments with some of our partners as part of their class curriculum.
Mentorships - Leaders in the sports industry talk to the students about their experiences and how they go to where they are today. Some will provide workshops and some provide just a general overview of their experience. (Due to COVID most have been done virtually)
