Here’s a quick update of what to expect as our first day of school approaches.
FLEXIBILITY is the Word of the Day. We are in this together and appreciate your patience as we adjust plans based on the ever-changing circumstances.
Some class schedules went out today, and the remainder will be sent tomorrow.
Instructions regarding access to Google Classroom and Edgenuity and a “First Day Preview” will also be sent tomorrow.
A virtual “Meet the Teacher” will be held Wednesday. Look for an email from Shantel Thomas-Cato, Dean of Students, with instructions and links.
It’s important to keep in mind that every school district is preparing for a very different start to the school year. Legacy faculty is comfortable with online instruction and understanding of those unfamiliar with the various learning platforms. Please reassure your kids that they are not alone, and we are here to help ease their back-to-school stress and jitters.
