Coaching and Athletic Administration
Legacy's Coaching and Athletic Administration career path introduces students to the principles of leadership and the entirety of being a coach. This includes the administrative pieces from creating schedules, recruiting, creating practice plans, game strategies, etc. The program challenges them to grow beyond being a player to becoming a leader.
Coaches greatly influence their players and leave lasting impressions that can be applied through life. Our partnership with organizations like VYPE and i9 Youth Sports provide Legacy students hands-on experience to develop in the coaching field.
Hands-on coaching opportunities are made possible through Legacy's Sports Management Society (SMS). The SMS is a student-driven organization, whose purpose is to provide opportunities to gain working knowledge and experience.
